Scarlet Rain is an innovative third person shooter for Windows PC. Playing as a vengeful vigilante who comes back to the city of his childhood, players will have to navigate through the dark and dirty rain soaked alleys of Istanbul while unraveling a conspiracy that goes back generations. The game revolves around unique physics interactions, behavior based random AI encounters, dynamic environments and objectives.
Reach out with your hand to touch, pick up and use objects.
Your weapons are actual physical objects within the game world.
Aim them as you would in real life, and engage in a unique set of interaction and combat gameplay options, from drinking soda to reloading your weapon, from looting boxes to picking up magazines, you control every action of your character. Firefights require more thought and precision where every single projectile is a 3d object that has physical attributes.
The game environment features a number of dynamic, randomly assigned characters, objects, places, objectives and events. Every playthrough may yield different outcomes, every familiar location may yield unfamiliar situations. The amount of trouble you stir up will cause call outs to private security forces, who will show up just when you thought you were home free.
You are “Scarlet”, and you’ve come back to your home city for revenge.
You’re up against insurmountable odds, and with each step, your enemies grow more brutal.
Your one man war on crime will draw the attention of the mob, corrupt officials as well as the media, and they will do everything in their power to twist the truth, to contain and eliminate you.
There are no mid-level saves, so every excursion out into the night brings with it its own rewards and challenges. Each excursion is its own self contained adventure, and one wrong move can mean your doom.
“… You slowly approach the shelf and while picking the pistol magazine up, you hit the box next to it with your hand and drop it off the shelf. The noise it makes brings some angry footsteps closer and closer… How many are there? Can I reload before they find me?”
These are the types of situations this game aims to offer.
